Gratitude Challenge- Week 1 Recap

Grat week 1This week I began my gratitude challenge. Finding something to be thankful for has been helpful in spiking my happiness.

This week my focus seems to have drifted to the people in my life: my husband, sons, and future daughter. It was great to focus on a person from my family and the bond I have with them. In addition, focusing on the excitement of pregnancy has helped to dull the aches and pains of the end of third trimester.

Finally, I’ve been having a hard time appreciating the down-time of not working (terrible problem, I know), so yesterday I focused on being grateful for the things I can do that I couldn’t while working so hard…namely reading books for enjoyment and just relaxing.

If you haven’t already, I encourage you to join in the gratitude this month… it really has lifted my spirits and I guarantee it will change the way you look at things around you!
