Recently, I’ve been feeling in a bit of a rut. I think it’s because I’m nearing the end of my pregnancy, and it’s getting harder to move around. I was being a bit mopey lately and feeling less than appreciative. Then, I also remembered, and heard my teacher colleagues talking about the school year quickly approaching. I remember that feeling, and the dread of summer break coming to an end. Finally, I was listening to some people complaining and I thought, “man, I don’t want to sound like that!”
For all those reasons, I thought the perfect challenge for August would be a gratitude challenge!
Instead of changing what’s going on in your life, let’s shift our focus for the next 31 days, to change how we look at our current life.
I know waddling around this month, I need a change of focus, so for the next 31 days I’m going to focus on gratitude.
Here’s how you can join in the challenge:
- Make sure you like the Peterberries page on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Each day I will be posting something I’m grateful for.
- Don’t just be a spectator, get involved and comment below my photo, or make a new post about what you are grateful for! Add the hashtag #31daysofthanks and #gratitudechallenge
Let’s have a month of gratitude as we finish the summer!
